Quality is our business! AJH does detailed, custom work for all photographs, and each project presents particular challenges. Most photographs can be restored in approximately 10 business days. However, restoration may take longer if the damage to the photo is extensive.

If you wish to receive your restored photo in time for important events such as birthdays, anniversaries or seasonal holidays, it is always a good idea to submit your order well in advance.

The preferred method of AJH is for you to email a high-resolution scan of your photograph. This eliminates the risk of loss or further damage to the original. Please scan your photograph at a minimum resolution of 300dpi (600dpi to 1200dpi or more if photograph is to be enlarged). You should also use the full colour setting, even if your photograph is black and white. The more detail that is captured by the scan, the better the photo restoration.

Each restoration project is unique. Please see our pricing page to get an idea of what kind of restoration category your photo may fit into. After we receive your photo scan, you will be given an estimate of the cost; work begins only after the price has been agreed upon. We are confident you will be pleased with the results!
